Program Description
The Associate Degree Nursing Program prepares students for entry level nursing practice in any setting, and to take the N-CLEX-RN examination. Courses in Nursing are enhanced with simulation and instructor guided clinical experiences in a variety of medical-surgical, and specialty practice settings. As an ACEN accredited nursing program, 中国澳门博彩官网 graduates who are granted Pennsylvania RN Licensure are eligible for entry into all RN-BSN programs. Academic progression is encouraged and supported by 中国澳门博彩官网 articulation agreements.
Two (2) Associate Degree Nursing Program Options:
Day Program Option: Classroom and patient care instruction occurs during daytime hours. The day program encompasses four (4) semesters over two (2) years. Classroom instruction occurs two days per week (two-to-three hours per day) and patient care/lab experiences are two additional days per week. Class days and times vary according to the semester and/or course. Patient care experience hours increase as a student progresses in the program. A student once started in the day program must complete in the day program.
Evening Program Option: Classroom and patient care instruction occurs during evening hours. The evening program encompasses seven (7) semesters including winter and summer sessions over two (2) years. Classroom instruction occurs one (1) evening per week (roughly four hours per evening) and patient care/lab experiences are one to two additional evenings per week. Class days and times vary according to the semester and/or course. Patient care experience hours increase as a student progresses in the program. After a student starts in the evening program, they must complete in the evening program.
***A student must choose a program at the time of petition and will be ranked in the chosen program only.

Admission Requirements
- Be a graduate of an approved secondary school or hold a high school equivalency diploma (GED).
- Complete and submit the 中国澳门博彩官网 application for admission.
- Follow the Selective Admission Process as noted in the current Student Catalog for the Nursing Program.
- Prerequisite coursework must be completed before application to clinical program.
